In 2000, Chun-chi Wang created the virtual actors - Hiakru and present in net.art of THE THING project;

"SNN Network News", the Department works with the animation film as well as several Internet messages, which I did in New York at “The Thing” arts program. Hikaru’s first started working for “The Thing” arts news as a virtual avatar. In 2001 the exhibition "animation" at the Contemporary Art of the New York P.S.1
MoMA, I created Hikaru 6 as a derivative of the earlier avatar used to show a performance in a broadcasting environment. I was interested by the virtual and real elements of the subtle similarities between the avatar and the human presenter.
